We’re committed to decarbonising our rail operations, with an ambitious goal to achieve a diesel-free train network by 2035.

To support decarbonisation, we’ve launched the UK’s largest EV charging hub at Hatfield Station and installed 526 solar panels at Streatham Hill depot. These initiatives are part of our wider strategy to reduce emissions, conserve energy, and create more a sustainable rail operation.

Our rail engineering division is powered by world-class expertise, with extensive in-house experience maintaining and transforming complex train fleets.

From a £55m transformation of Class 700 trains at Selhurst Depot to pioneering predictive maintenance technologies, we optimise fleet performance, minimise disruption and deliver safe journeys.

We’re committed to operating responsibly, serving our passengers while supporting the communities around our stations.

Our rail services prioritise inclusivity and community impact, achieving the UK’s National Equality Standard and doubling women train driver applicants since 2019. With £480m invested in social value and mental health initiatives, we’re building rail networks that both serve and uplift communities.
